Once again, old age and treachery trumps youth and skill. Once again, John McCain has seized total control of the news cycle when it was going against him, and has put Obama in a no-win position. Either Obama takes McCain's cue and returns to Washington (in which case he is the follower to McCain's leader) or he eschews the job for which he was elected and is paid to do in order to campaign for a different one.

I've always admired McCain, but I never expected to say this -- the man's a genius.

Better yet. Bush called Obama and Obama has decided to heed the call.

So Jimmy it looks like you got your talking points wrong. You need to get some new ones from the hive mind.
