Well, I'm certainly confused. Were they leftover unused flags, large and made of cloth? Or were they paper flags left behind as trash? The stories I read seem to conflate two separate incidences as one.

At any rate, whatever is true, I hope the flags finally are disposed of properly.

That the multiple stories (not just this one) did not make sense to me is perhaps my lack of understanding or reading comprehension.
