The Problem Is White People

Yep. White people are messing up the election. But there is a fix for that. Don't allow them to vote.

As a lifelong Caucasian, I am beginning to think the time has finally come to take the right to vote away from white people, at least until we come to our senses. Seriously, I just don't think we can be trusted to exercise it responsibly anymore.

I give you Exhibit A: The last eight years.

In 2000, Bush-Cheney stole the election, got us attacked, and then got us into two no-exit wars. Four years later, white people reelected them. Is not the repetition of the same behavior over and over again with the expectation of a different outcome the very definition of insanity? (It is, I looked it up.)

Exhibit B is any given Sarah Palin rally.

We are really lucky the white guy is no bigot. If he was some kind of racist bigot he would be saying things like "black people shouldn't be allowed to vote because of the color of their skin and because they are too stupid to make good choices". Which of course is not true. Except in the case of white people. So maybe I have this whole race thing in America wrong. I'm going to have to get with the program. Does the Aryan Nation accept Jews?

You know the biggest problem with white people? They're hysterical drama queens. Has it occurred to this guy that he can show the way by renouncing his own vote?

Incidentally, Mister "I Looked It Up" might have checked the source of the definition of insanity quote. Albert Einstein. Who was, in addition to being white, not a psychiatrist. So he needs to quote Sigmund Freud on relativity to balance it out.

Here's the comment I left there:

Replace the word "white" with the word "black" and re-publish this column. Then explain how it's only a satire.

Chris   ·  October 27, 2008 07:39 AM

Einstein should never be quoted on any subject other than physics. The rest is just bumbling professorial opinion--America's number one educational product and export.

Whenever I read "stole the election" I always know that whatever follows is going to be moronic.

My idea has always been and will always be that home ownership should be the only requirement for voting, and I mean outright ownership, not sharing the house with a bank through a mortgage. Allowing anybody to vote just because they've survived eighteen years is cultural suicide, and I'm living proof of that: I turned eighteen just in time to cast my first presidential ballot for Jimmy Carter.

Once somebody has gotten to the point that they own their own home, they are less likely to fall for socialist and communist BS, and nothing would encourage an "ownership society" like making home ownership a requirement for being eligible to vote. All citizens should have the chance to ASPIRE to vote, but it shouldn't just be handed to them without some sort of proof that they are, in fact, at least minimally functional citizens.

It might be satire if I wrote it intending to satirize the left.

I'm not sure it really is satire, because the author amplifies on the theme here, with video:

http://www.phawker.com/2008/10/26/editorial-why-whitey-cant-vote/

I think he's serious in his sentiment, although he's safe in the sense that he knows it will never happen. So he can hide behind a claim of "satire" if enough people complain to the Inquirer for running the piece.

They're getting comments like this:

That the Inquirer would give space to a column like this tells one all one needs to know. This column is absolute trash, the type of thing one would find on the internet, but not in a formerly respected newspaper. What substance was being ingested when the editorial board approved this? The writer is obviously seriously mentally deranged and I would recommend immediate professional help.
And predictably, the author's defenders are telling people they can't take a joke.

Valania, BTW, has had a poor track record as a writer at other venues (for lack of, um, originality), but I guess the Inquirer will take anyone:

"OUTTA THERE! Taking my shit to the Inquirer. More coming... standby," he said today in an email. Inky arts desk, we do not envy you today. And if we may address our prodigal son directly for a moment: Like we said before, Jonathan -- it?s not that we wanted you to get fired, it?s just that, well, you deserved to.
At the Inky, he seems to have moved up from music reviews. Maybe they were getting tired of him, and he's seeking martyrdom.

If they fire him now, he "wins." (Beats being a washed up music reviewer, eh?)

Nice way to launch a blog? Two words come to mind.

Professional troll.

(I've been blogging long enough to know it when I see it.)

Not so sure how I would feel about that in a couple of weeks time.

Daran   ·  October 27, 2008 09:56 AM

Daran - I take your point. But our worries for the coming election should be the 10% swing the media bias creates, more than the last few thousand votes they hope to pull out with suspect registrations. Those have their importance, but they're not the problem.

Sports analogy: It's similar to college programs that play by the rules having to compete against those who cheat on recruiting. How the refs call the games is small potatoes after that.

In case you haven't noticed, Racism is allowed so long as it's directed at White People. Of course, anything a white person does is racist and politically incorrect according to Cultural Marxism which both parties are brainwashed with.

White People, if you want to know how things are going to unfold, just study South Africa. A black will break into your home to steal your TV. You'll hit the thief with a bat in order to stop him. He'll run to law enforcement who'll promptly return and charge you with breaking the law (harming the protected class), force you to give the thief your TV, force you to pay for his injuries, and also pay a fine to Law Enforcement. If you question any of the above as unfair, you'll be charged with racism and be forced to pay another fine. Just you wait ....

Wake Up White People! You're being brainwashed at every level in society with Cultural Marxism!

Wake Up White People?

Sounds like Valania in drag....

M. Simon   ·  October 27, 2008 03:36 PM

So is it safe to assume this jackass voted for Lynn Swann? If he didn't, he's really got some explaining to do.
