Al Qaeda In Iraq

The US Military has put out a slide show about Al Qaeda In Iraq [pdf]. The first few slides are innocuous enough. After that it gets pretty graphic. Pictures of wounds on torture victims. Mass graves. And other such vileness.

After looking at the presentation it is no wonder the Iraqis hate Al Qaeda and all it stands for.

I don't, and haven't been able too, understand why the savagery and despicable behaviour of the islamofacists isn't publicised. These images ,and those like them ,should be widely disseminated so that the world can see what kind of animals we are fighting.

Unfortunately, the PC rating for Islamofacists is "Untouchable". Quite literally, they can do no wrong, since everything they might do can be directly attributable to their reactions to the excesses of Western society, so there's not going to be any condemnation by the folks on the left, and when the right attempts to do that the left will quickly silence things. All cultures are equal - and there's no way to judge between them.

But if there's a serious bombing here in the US, all bets are off. They'll be the ones howling for blood at that point, and the Islamist's friends will turn to very active enemies.

Al Qaeda's philosophy of "executions will continue until morale improves" was a big strategic mistake. We have reason to believe, though, that UBL tried to discourage this terrorizing of the population in Iraq. But, the truth is, UBL is really not incharge.
