Aftermath Of An IED Explosion
Aftermath Of An IED Explosion

The above picture tells a lot about who the Iraqis trust when things get rough in that country. It also tells a lot about the men and women of our fighting forces. It is from an essay by Bill Whittle. You can read the essay at part 1 and part 2. It is very good.

Freeing a country from a tyranical dictator that according to amnesty international killed over a million people in the '90s - 70+ Billion Dollars

Fighting off thousands of Facists that want to stone people to death who have a lifestyle they oppose or who allow stuffed animals to be named after religious figures - over 100 Billion Dollars and many brave lives

Finding a US Marine to get behind when evil and danger approach - Priceless

It shows that US soldiers walk toward danger when everyone else is going the other way.

This picture should be up for a Pulitzer but what are the odds.

It makes one proud and sad at the same time.
