We Have Beaches

I was reading at Alphecca about the Brady anti-gun campaign's rating of various States on the level of their gun prohibition laws. A low rating means a gun friendly state. A high rating means very unfriendly to fire arms. California is very unfriendly. Here is the take of one commenter from California. Of course like any good Californian he has turned the list upside down and is interpreting it "improperly".

Wow, California is at the bottom? And by a big margin, too. I knew it was bad out here but I thought MA and MD had it worse.

So, as I've asked before, when are y'all going to invade? We have beaches!

They've changed their ranking system from the grade based system to this new ranking and scoring. Pennsylvania is number 10, right behind IL, if you can believe that. I think they abandoned the grading system because most states got pretty low grades. This way their favored states end up near the top, while hiding the fact that from 10 to 50 are actually states with pretty reasonable (by our definition) gun laws. It makes things look better for Brady than it actually is. You have to imagine that all those Ds and Fs they were giving most of the states kind of said something about the impact they have.

New Jersey is better than California? To think that I have refused to move to New Jersey while imagining that I can move back to California some day!

Things are really getting bad. Perhaps I should move back to California with my guns and then sue.

Didn't you get the memo? The Mexican invasion began 20 years ago while Reagan was president. At the current rate SoCal will be annexed to Mexico within another generationHe won the Cold War with the Soviets but flubbed it along our Southern Border...
