If America's economy collapses so does the Chinese. I fail to see the advantage to the Chinese. Perhaps you could explain it.

Exports to America only account for 2-4% of China's economy these days.
We need them far more than they need us now.

How about their biggest competition turning into a third world nation?
China is on the edge of revolt.
A 2% to 4% drop in their economy could tip them into big home grown political trouble.
