So Weak They Have To Cheat
I have been thinking some about what all this voter fraud business means in the larger scheme of things. It means that the left is on the wane in a very serious way. They can't win without cheating. Cross Posted at Power and Control posted by Simon on 10.17.08 at 07:09 AM

They've never been able to win without cheating. In fact, they might be able to now, but they've always won that way, so it is hard to stop. Phelps · October 17, 2008 11:29 AM Simon, Tim, Phelps, Perhaps you'd be interested in some actual facts (or, perhaps not). http://www.slate.com/id/2202383/ "As far as "gotcha" stunts go, the right-wing feeding frenzy over the vile vote-fraud treachery of ACORN has yet to yield much fruit. Investigations are indeed under way. But then, they are always under way this time of the year—and as the indefatigable Brad Friedman points out, so what? Evidence of voter-registration wrongdoing is no more a sign of widespread, Obama-sanctioned vote fraud than evidence of minorities being misled and intimidated on Election Day is a sign of official, McCain-sanctioned vote suppression. What's the real point of turning voter-registration shenanigans into "one of the greatest frauds in voter history"? The object here is not criminal indictments. It's to undermine voter confidence in the elections system as a whole. John McCain wants to build a better bogeyman, and he needs your help to do it." Dr. Nobel Dynamite · October 17, 2008 01:55 PM Not that Dear Prudence doesn't also have some wonderful things to say, but for some reason I botched the previous link. Dr. Nobel Dynamite · October 17, 2008 04:45 PM No Bell, Voter fraud has already been proven against a number of ACORN members: http://www.petetheelder.com/?p=1038 My guess is that the latest FBI look is to decide if they have a RICO case against ACORN. And how about Obama's "spread the wealth" philosophy. That has to be about as good a vote getter as ACORN. M. Simon · October 17, 2008 05:09 PM In the larger scheme of things you may be right but that still does not prevent them from stealing this election. steve r · October 17, 2008 11:33 PM Post a comment

Or maybe cheating is just so much in their blood that they can't help it.
