She Is Bright - They Are Stuck On Stupid
As you know I have covered the Sarah Palin Hong Kong speech in a previous post. Neil sent me an e-mail link to this take on her speech. Melvin Goodé , a regional marketing consultant, thought Mrs. Palin chose Hong Kong because, he said, it was "a place where things happen and where freedom can be expanded upon."Over a year of blackening Sara's reputation down the tubes in one short quote. I have always thought that the Democrats severely underestimated Sarah. Hopefully the Democrat politicians will stay stuck on stupid. Steve, So far Instapundit hasn't covered the story. I sent him a link just after posting. You would think that the NYTs covering Goode/Palin would be big news. So far as I can tell CV/PaC are the only ones covering it. Simon M. Simon · September 24, 2009 01:36 PM Check out these: http://pajamasmedia.com/instapundit/85617/
Eric Scheie · September 24, 2009 01:47 PM Eric, I figured that the fact that an Obama voter said she was bright would be front page news. Esp when it got ink in the NYTs. M. Simon · September 24, 2009 03:15 PM Sarah Palin is not bright. She's only capable of reading lines someone else has prepared for her. I've listened to her resignation ramblings, her interviews with Couric and Greta, and can't find a logically connected synapse anywhere. She's a doer, not a thinker. Frank · September 25, 2009 01:09 AM he's only capable of reading lines someone else has prepared for her. I'm sorry, you seem to have mistaken Barack Obama for Sarah Palin. I don't know HOW, they don't look anything alike. HeatherRadish · September 25, 2009 06:37 AM Frank, Do not underestimate Sarah. She is not who you think she is. This is only the first move in the counterattack. M. Simon · September 25, 2009 09:31 AM Simon: Frank · September 25, 2009 09:41 AM Frank, As usual time will tell. If she can convince an Obama voter (as reported in the NYTs!) that she is bright with one speech after all the negative publicity I think she has a good chance of converting independents and squishy Democrats. M. Simon · September 25, 2009 10:04 AM I may have to revise my opinion of Sarah. "Best Wishes for the Jewish High Holidays Todd and I would like to offer our best wishes to the Jewish community as they celebrate the High Holy Days. With the celebration of the Jewish New Year this week and the observance of the Day of Atonement next week, we are reminded of the hopeful commitment to renewal and peace exemplified by the Jewish tradition and the Jewish people throughout history. Yom Kippur, the most solemn and important of the Jewish holy days, is a time of reflection and supplication for forgiveness. The timeless human struggle to promote justice, harmony, and peace is seen here in this process of atonement – in humbly seeking pardon for past wrongs in the hope of a new beginning. It reminds us that if we wish to co-exist globally, we must all strive for forgiveness and tolerance. A speech was given at the United Nations General Assembly yesterday that was full of hateful anti-Semitic rhetoric. It was a shameful display before a body whose very charter is premised on the need for co-operation and harmony in pursuit of peaceful co-existence between nations. Such talk was especially abhorrent coming as it did during the Jewish High Holidays. The world community must speak with one voice in declaring anti-Semitism and all forms of intolerance and racism utterly unacceptable. There is no place in the community of peace-loving nations for those who traffic in hate or deny the terrible atrocity of the Nazi Holocaust. In this holy season, we join the Jewish people in the struggle to promote justice, harmony, and peace. May God bless them. -Sarah Palin" Frank · September 27, 2009 12:35 AM Post a comment

First they will claim that Palin didn't write the speech.
How they will claim that she didn't give it, either, I wait to see.
Incidentally, somebody should ask this Goode fellow if he refuses to vote for Palin out of racism or simple misogyny. My guess is both - "Bros before hos."
