Who said they don't have death panels?

Dr. Helen's headline "Health care for Clunkers" reminded me of the "care" they actually give the "clunkers" -- many of which are perfectly good cars.

The care? It's called "pour in gunk to make the system lock up then gun the motor until it seizes" and it's dictated by the federal bureaucracy which wants to run our deaths lives.

Once again, here's the government mandated death panel in action:

As I concluded in my post,

That's what they'd like to do to the rest of the economy.

And what the more malevolent among them would like to do to many of us....

Eventually we'll all be clunkers.

That sure makes the blood boil! That's a newer car than we could afford. Some of our tax money is used to destroy it and then more tax money is shelled out to subsidise a new car, something we can afford even less. On top of that the program of destruction raises the cost of used cars, again at our expense. Perfect example of socialist government - spread the wealth around, from bottom to top.

What does it say about our country that we willingly destroy our own assets?

Destruction of wealth yields wealth creation. Why don't we start knocking down 20 year old buildings? Think of the stimulus the rebuilding would provide!
