Obama: "I Have Great Insurance"
President Obama is satisfied with his insurance. Obama says it's not about him. "I have great health insurance and so does every member of Congress," the president said in remarks prepared for his news conference Wednesday night. "This debate is about the letters I read when I sit in the Oval Office every day, and the stories I hear at town hall meetings. This debate is not a game for these Americans, and they cannot afford to wait for reform any longer."If this plan he wants to FORCE on the rest of us is so good why doesn't he promise to drop his plan and join the plan he is proposing - out of solidarity? Why don't all the Congress Critters pushing this plan promise to drop their coverage and join any plan they vote on? Here's the irony in Obama's statement. He can't deny that the benefits he has are better than the majority of us. Those making over $250,000 a year cannot deny their income either. Obama wants those making over $250,000 to pay for his nifty ideas through increased taxes. What if those making $250,000 or more had their own nifty ideas on how to spend all the tax money coming from those making less than $250,000? Better yet why doesn't he just extend his wonderful coverage to all of the rest of us? Too expensive? Aren't we worth it?
Why should we pay for his gold plated bennies and not get them ourselves? Isn't this a government of the people, by the people, and for the people?
