all atwitter about Coco's liver enzymes
I spent all morning at the vet with Coco. She was tweaked, prodded, poked, punctured, infused and X-rayed for the second time in a month, and they seem to be getting closer to figuring out what was wrong with her. I can't blog while waiting at the vet, and while I am not a Twitterer, I do have an account, and it occurred to me that by using my cell phone, I could twitter. So I did: Waiting at the vet for coco:s blood work is so boring that i thought i would twitter :-).and Coco s ALT is 114 which is high. Ongoing problem would seen to be with her inflamed gut. about 2 hours agoAnd finally, I asked a question no one will answer at Twitter, because I almost never use Twitter: Is there any way to set up twitter so that it automatically feeds into a blog post ?Is there? Does anyone know? It would be a nice feature, as it would allow me to sneak in an occasional post from a cell phone when I'm in a pinch. Regarding the ALT, it's a liver enzyme test and does not necessarily indicate liver diease: ALT levels may go up four to five times the normal level even in non-hepatic disorders like inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract, hemolytic anemia, and heart failure. So I think Coco will be fine in a couple of weeks. The vet thinks it must be something she ate which caused an enormous, persistent inflammation. I don't know whether it's a coincidence or not, but it seemed to start right after her close encounter with a skunk in the backyard. She's resting comfortably now, and licking her lips in anticipation of the nice meal I just gave her ("Royal Canin Gastro Intestinal High Energy" dog food plus yummy yogurt).

Not right now, but I may look into it. Eric Scheie · September 17, 2010 04:13 PM Brandon Fuller sells a Movable Type plugin that puts each tweet into a post. Ten bucks. MT-Twitter (!) is the name. Requires MT 4.0, though. CGHill · September 17, 2010 10:17 PM Chaz thanks! I KNEW someone would know, and I should have know it would be you. (Unfortunately, I am stuck with MT 3.2, and have found no one willing to upgrade it, even for money.) Eric Scheie · September 17, 2010 11:02 PM Post a comment
