Give Us The Money

With shouts of "Give Us The Money" and "We Need The Cash", public employees demonstrate in Springfield, Illinois.

Nothing could make it more obvious after a demonstration like this that there is a war going on in America between government and the people over who is going to be the Master and who is going to be the Servant. Who will be on the leash and who will be on top.

The American Thinker has more.

I'm sitting here wondering why I'm the only person here in Chicago I know who is flaming with rage at the property tax hikes that are driving low-and-middle income home owners out of their homes.

I mean, I'm a RENTER. But I pay through my rent-almost every rent increase in the past ten years has been driven by property tax hikes.

The only people getting raises now are teachers and other public service employees, while the rest of us are experiencing stagnating or dropping incomes. We are being laid off or our hours reduced, while our public school teachers extort yet another raise for a job where you get a third of the year off and where it takes an act of Congress to get you fired.

When will the passive sheep of Chicago and Crook County have had enough?

Greece should be a warning to all. Let's see if people can put 2+2 together. . .

Night all.
