It took 40 years, but it's crystal clear now

Finally! The moment I've been waiting for since 1969.

A friend emailed me a link to the supposedly "misheard" lyrics of Joe Cocker at Woodstock singing "With A Little Help From My Friends."

I'm not sure Joe's lyrics were so much misheard as they were unintelligible and in need of interpretation, but whoever it was who did the mishearing and the interpretation did a good job!

Just a few minutes later the first PSA regarding bad acid went out over the loudspeakers.

I never thought my hearing was particularly sharp, but that's what I always thought he said. I guess it's good to have confirmation though.

You have to wonder how much of that is what he meant to sing.

My favorite Joe Cocker moment is on SNL, Belushi was doing his, spot on, Joe Cocker imitation and Cocker came on and they sang in stereo. It was hard to tell who was the real Joe Cocker.

Very funny.

SNL also did a funny bit subtitling Joe.
