Happy Halloween!

Carving a pumpkin is an annual Halloween ritual I'm too old to stop.

Here's what my jack-o-lantern looked like at sunset:

And here's how it looks now:

Enjoy the ghosts!

DISCLOSURE: A hypothetical marriage proposal from Donna in the comments below left me feeling deepy flattered, but also a tad guilty, and I'm afraid my reply --"I'm not sure you'd have said what you did had you seen me last night!" -- may have painted less than a full picture.

As I don't want to be accused of misleading anyone about the true nature of my appearance, I humbly submit an accurate and unedited picture taken of me on Halloween:

As you can see, I take "till death do us part" seriously.

Love the nostrils and the extra wide smile.

Perfect!

Say... if you weren't gay and I weren't ugly, would you marry me?

Since that's out of the question, will you just be my BFF?

And why do you ask if I've had a bit too much to drink tonight? hmmm????

My faith in humans has just been shaken.

I searched for halloween pumpkin candle "global warming" and then pumpkin candle "global warming" and could only find some sellers of soy candles pushing them as being ecofriendly.

I didn't find one article that said that candles in pumpkins should be outlawed because WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE from global worming caused by burning candles.
I'm sure there's some out there, but I looked at two or three pages of results on those searches and saw nothing.

I figured it would be within the first 5 hits.
Next year.

Thank you all.

Glad to hear that I helped with the warming, as I could use some around here!

But Donna, I'm not sure you'd have said what you did had you seen me last night!

Awesome! I'm afraid that Halloween got rained out here andf I was really depressed. I only got 12 visitors and got to scare so little..
