Over the years I had the occasion to counsel many a young person or even older people new to their jobs, all of them friends looking for some advice. One of the very first things I would tell them was this...
"Walk fast and with purpose. It never ceases to impress people, even if you have no clue as to what is going on."
And no, I never had the pleasure of counseling our current president, but I bet you thought I did!
