EBAY ADMITS OBAMA WAS BORN IN KENYA!
In the latest wrinkle of Birth Certificate Trutherism, an Ebay seller has been prohibited from selling what he calls "Barack Obama's Kenyan birth certificate" -- and for a very interesting reason: In the third listing from colmado_naranja, the seller explains, "This time their reasoning for the cancellation was that birth certificates and other forms are government ID are prohibited on eBay."Fascinating. I'm more intrigued by Ebay's reasoning than the seller's attempt to get around it. While I think it's most likely a fraudulent listing (because Obama is certified by Hawaii as having been born in Honolulu, and no one has ever been able to come up with any official documentation to the contrary), I think Ebay's statement ought to really raise eyebrows: "...their reasoning for the cancellation was that birth certificates and other forms are government ID are prohibited on eBay." In other words, Ebay says Obama's Kenyan birth certificate is real! You don't have to be a Birth Certificate Truther to recognize the fun in that. posted by Eric on 06.28.09 at 11:42 AM

That should read: made-up, as in false, as in phoney, as in hoax. And, as of this moment, (1:45 pm central time Sunday), there is no listing for anything related to Obama+birth on Ebay. The allegation that Ebay shut down the sale because it was a "government document" is also made up by the seller. A more likely reason is that e-bay asked to see a copy, and the seller refused to send one. smrstrauss · June 28, 2009 01:43 PM EBAY IS VIOLATING FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS. I Igor produce Barrack Milhaus Hussein Obama Birth Certificate at www.igormarxo.org Igor Marxomarxovich · June 28, 2009 05:17 PM Ebay did not admit the "Kenyan Birth Certificate is real." They are only saying that what the seller says is not acceptable on ebay. The seller, identified by the user name " colmado_naranja," states, "President Barack Hussein Obama II was born in The Coast Provincial Hospital at Mombasa in Kenya at 7:24 PM on August 4th, 1961." The birth certificate is not really necessary; he has already admitted his father was of Kenya and his step-father was of Indonesia. He admitted living in Indonesia and going to school there. These things make his ineligible because of dual-alliances to other nations. He is in a strong position to be blackmailed by other nations and by his own school friends and staff, and by his own administration. He is not safe; he could reveal his connections. DANGER DANGER, WARNING WARNING The charges and evidences against Barack Obama are on my website, court style: A copy was sent to Barack Obama and US Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald. Both were sent about 2-11-09. Barack Obama clearly thinks he has something to hide. They can make him decide their way in policy decisions. Email the president that you want this controversy ended, for his safety and that of his family's future well being. http://www.whitehouse.gov/contact/ Marie Devine · June 29, 2009 11:18 AM smrstrauss: E Bay, as a private company, is not required to abide by the First Amendment. Only the government is constrained. E Bay may wish to make clear that its objections are to "government documents or those things purporting to be government documents". That would cover fake ID as well as fake birth certificates. John Burgess · June 29, 2009 12:12 PM There are a number of birth certificates listed for sale on Ebay: Eric Scheie · June 29, 2009 12:40 PM Re: "EBAY ADMITS OBAMA WAS BORN IN KENYA!" Not true. If you are saying that Ebay barred the sale because it was a government document, Ebay did not know whether or not it was a government document. Ebay simply barred the sale of anything that was described as a government document. The seller claimed that it was a government document. Ebay barred the sale on the basis of the claim. It did not investigate the claim.

The alleged birth certificate is a made-u story. The seller claims to have gotten the document at the hospital in Mombassa. But the seller also says that the document was "certified." Hospitals do not certify their documents.
