Libertarian Republican
Eric Dondero of the Libertarian Republican blog has some very kind words for Sarah Palin. Sarah Palin has long been considered to be a libertarian-leaning Republican. As Mayor of Wasila (Anchorage suburb), Palin was friends with local libertarian Republican elected officials, and worked closely with them on tax cut proposals.Eric has an editors note that is very interesting. Editor's Note - As many of you all know, our own Contributing Writer Adam Brickley of Colorado is the Founder and Chairman of the Draft Sarah Palin for VP Campaign. (I guess, as of this moment the group should happily go defunct.) We are extremely proud of Adam's efforts. And we are proud to have lent our support to Adam, and played a role in this effort. So who is Adam Brickley? Glad you asked. Lets have a look at the Washington Post to get some details. Online, politicians and their supporters both leave digital footprints.Well what do you know. Sarah thinks Adam made a difference. I think it is now time that the rest of us Libertarian Republicans went out and made a difference. Cross Posted at Power and Control posted by Simon on 08.31.08 at 09:15 AM

Brickley is just another religious freak from Peyton - it seems to breed them. The woman that is trying to define a human as a fertilized egg is from there too. Palin believes in creationism - definition of somebody who shouldn't have anything to do with running this country. Too scietifically illiterate. Chris P · September 6, 2008 12:59 AM Chris, There are a lot of people out there who believe the dead can arise walk around and then ascend into heaven under special circumstances. An awful lot of them seem to have gotten elected President. As long as she doesn't force the teaching of her beliefs in schools - she said it could be discussed in science class - it is not a bad idea. One good way to figure the difference between science and faith. M. Simon · September 6, 2008 01:15 AM Post a comment

I like that, the Libertarian wing of the Republican Party. We are the remnants of the Rockefeller/Scranton/Thornburgh Republican Party of the 70-80's.
I'd like someone smarter than me to unite the vast center of both current parties and just ignore both fringes.
