Victory Has Another Father

The KOS Kids are going to show the wingers how supporting the troops is supposed to be done.

Today, I'm calling all kossacks with an invitation to show the wingers how to walk the walk by supporting the troops with some good old fashioned care packages. It's a great way to support those men and women who will not be home for the holidays and sending care packages to the troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan is easier than most folks realize. So, here's some specific information on where to find soldiers to support, what to send, and the ins and outs of mailing care packages overseas. I promise, it's easier than you think and you'll feel wonderful walking away from that post office counter.
And you know it a couple of months it will be - "We always supported the troops and the mission. It was the moron Bush's mismanagement that put us off."

Well any way, welcome aboard "The Victory" shipmates, one of the very latest and most modern ships in the US Military.

The internet never forgets. They won't be able to hide their loathing so easily.

Forgive me but I doubt the Lefties will be able to control themselves. Sure, for a few weeks maybe, especially around the holidays, they'll make nice and send some care packages. But it won't last. Their insane hate will bubble back up to the surface. There's really nothing else left inside them.

This meltdown could be hysterically pathetic to watch. When would be the optimal time to buy stock in SSRI manufacturers?

everett   ·  November 20, 2007 12:01 AM

For our best and bravest, it's the fifth holiday season in Iraq and the sixth in Afghanistan -- and the Kos Kidz are just now getting around to the how-to's on sending stuff to those at the front?

Vinny Vidivici   ·  November 20, 2007 12:07 AM

Probably one of our guys making mischief. Bet there are some colorfully obscene replies in the thread. Wouldn't sully myself looking, to be honest.

Bart   ·  November 20, 2007 12:19 AM

So where were these losers when Operation Gratitude was sending over 260,000 packages to the troops? Walk the walk? Eat our dust!

richard mcenroe   ·  November 20, 2007 12:50 AM

Maybe he could include in every package a print out a copy of his "famous Screw em!" post.

You know, just to show he cares.

mr lawson   ·  November 20, 2007 02:25 AM

Lot of us have been doing this for years...it takes them 4 years to think about care packages for the troops?

debbie   ·  November 20, 2007 03:23 AM

I have a number of 6 year olds in my Cub Scout pack that could give them some pointers.

PS

Storminator   ·  November 20, 2007 04:18 AM

To the winners go the spoils, I guess.

At least they aren't taking any shots at the troops today.

Greg Toombs   ·  November 20, 2007 06:35 AM

This little gesture from the kos kooks is just as disingenuous as it can be. After years of documented animosity and obscenities toward this country and the military, they think this half-assed care package 'campaign' will wipe the slate clean. Not in this century.

SFC MAC   ·  November 20, 2007 07:06 AM

You're failing to account for what the Kos Kidz will send the troops.

It's downright Fascistic to give them a list of stuff to buy - that's what The Man wants them to do. And the soldiers are too effing stoopid to know what it is that they need.

I suspect some report will show that 10,000 copies of Graham Greene novels were sent to the front along with dozens of cases of snow shoes - to illustrate the effect Bush's War is having on global warming.

Lefties don't do care packages for the troops, not OUR troops anyway. Code Pink did send $600,000 worth of cash and supplies to the terrorist stronghold of Fallujah. And lefties do send Christmas cards to wounded troops at Walter Reed telling them they hope they would die.

If the lefties ever did send care packages to our guys, you can be sure that they'll include something hateful or at least some nasty letter to "educate" them.

Tantor   ·  November 20, 2007 07:38 AM

My guess is they send a Chomskey book at the bottom of a box of sand.

Spider79   ·  November 20, 2007 07:46 AM

BUT IT WAS ILLEGAL TO WIN YOU #$%^&* FASCISTS!!!!

I had to put the cursing in to yaknow keepit rel

They're a day late and a dollar short. It's been more than a year since DoD killed the "To Any Soldier" mailings because the usual suspects did ship tiding of hate and loathing. It's too late in the season to establish the connections to get mail to a specific soldier without going through bureaucratic processes that will take till vernal equinox to get in place. Remember for the kossacks its all about themselves, cause there are already numerous organizations who've done the paperwork and are in place to act as the vehicle to deliver support to the troops. It'll take more than a care package or two to mortgage their souls out of the darkness they've sold them too.

Don   ·  November 20, 2007 08:05 AM

Mission accomplished.

J   ·  November 20, 2007 08:44 AM

I don't care if those on the left are four years late with this or whether they're just trying belatedly to get on the right side of history. Doing the right thing is to be encouraged and commended.

KeithK   ·  November 20, 2007 01:31 PM

I'm surprised it didn't get troll-rated and banned.

The comments are funny, though. So much self-adulation, so little actual compassion.

Heather   ·  November 20, 2007 03:19 PM

the wingers how supporting the troops is supposed to be done.

The arrogance of that statement shows that their idiocy knows no limits.

Countless churches, scout troops, support organizations and the like have been on the job for years.

Screw Kos

Gordon   ·  November 20, 2007 03:37 PM

I welcome their change of heart, if it comes. I could care less why they are doing it, our soldiers need their support. We'll not forget their at least borderline treason and we'll remember the things they said. If it takes them doing a 180 and acting like it's what they wanted all along for us to pull together for a win I am willing to take it.

Christopher Taylor   ·  November 20, 2007 06:35 PM

Typical lefties, jump on the band wagon after all the heavy lifting has been done. It will not last... they will be up to speed within a week supporting the troops but not the mission. read the post on the Kos site, Traitorous Cowards ALL! I do care why they are doing it help and respect one day attack them as murderous ratz the next... nuf to make you go mad. I never welcome insincerity.
