Not That It Matters, I'm Just Saying

Isn't this more or less an act of war?

so was taking over the embassy

Of course Iran's action are acts of war. They have been at war with us since they took our embassy hostage. They continued their war with us when Hezbollah (their proxy) killed hundreds of Marines in Lebanon. They are in proxy wars with us in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The key thing to remember is that it is the Islamist regime in Iran that is warring against us. That same regime is warring against its internal opponents, likely a majority of the population.

It is way past time for the Iranian regime to pay for its provocations. But, B.H.Obama will ignore the threat. That seems to be his approach; if a situation demands robust Presidential action in the military sphere, he goes AWOL.

What newrouter said. Whether we acknowledge it or not, we have been at war with Iran since 1979.
