It's probably best not to read too much into this.
However, if Barack Obama ever started sporting a Bush-style suspicious bulge, it would be time for his progressive base to be worried, if not very worried.
More importantly, I can tell who picks out the ties of the guys at the office; them or their wives. I ask them point blank and I've been right every time. The wives have MUCH better taste. :)
My husband has a shirt he absolutely hates. I picked it out and bought it for him. But when ever I'm able to get him to wear it, he gets compliments on it all day. It still befuddles him.

Unfortunately, the biggest giveaway on the ties was the flag lapel pin. In every pic that showed a pin, there was revealed a GW smile.
Unfortunate because it was an easy and predictable giveaway.
