I have no idea how reputable the organization is so you might want to look into that before sending money. They do have some nice pictures of Dr. Bussard's experimental devices.

A VC like approach very well might have me pulling out a checkbook.
Assuming this can actually work, it seems we would be making some people fabulously wealthy, with no return but eventual cheap electricity.
At the least what they could do is offer free energy for life* to anyone who donates over a certain amount; if it works. If that happens, energy will be very cheap anyway, right?
* - this statement probably needs to be lawyerfied to limit amount to some multiple of current usage per capita.
