Capitol Hill Blue Made Easy
It occurred to me that the George Harleigh>Doug Thompson>Bill McTavish>Teresa Hampton>Sandra Riley connections might have been tough for readers of the several previous posts to follow. So, I have attempted to simplify everything by making an easy-to-follow flow chart: PLEASE NOTE: This is intended as a guide only, and it is based on my interpretation of the data before me. Others may have suggestions. The ultimate identities and various twists and turns of the parties is of course open to some speculation, but the following "facts" are known from the "evidence": It is anyone's guess whether any of this will interrupt the flow chart I so lovingly designed. But stay tuned! UPDATE: My thanks to commenter and blogger Signal94 for cluing me in on the "departure" of "Doug Thompson." Sig94 is a great blog BTW -- with some incredibly cool cars! (My first car was a 1941 Plymouth, for which I paid $200.00.) UPDATE (07/25/06): Via Glenn Reynolds, I see that Wuzzadem has made some fine sock puppets. (Now, if I could just borrow them, the roles are already mapped out. . .) posted by Eric on 07.22.06 at 12:53 PM

Why the obsession with this topic? Liberals wrote off this tool over a year ago. You really need to expand your horizons beyond Instapundit. RayButler · July 22, 2006 05:23 PM Discredited? By whom? Does the "discreditor" have credibility? More importantly, I think a person that espouses Classical Values has to give more creedence to logic and evidence. All I see on this blog is a lot of "me too" sychophantism in lockstep with the Republican talking points. Don't kid yourself into thinking that the Right Blogosphere is awash with original, independent thinkers with integrity. You need to investigate each issue independently (and no, that does not meen following the links from Lileks to Clayton Cramer to the Corner). You haven't done that. There's nothing here that you can't find in any other right wing blog. RayButler · July 22, 2006 05:27 PM I think I just heard two squeals from a stuck pig. Mike G in Corvallis · July 22, 2006 05:48 PM The real irony would be if "RayButler" had an IP address in the same subnet at Capitol Hill Blue. Jeff Medcalf · July 22, 2006 06:07 PM Ray, You need to look up the definition of "discredited" (or just read the post below this one for a pretty good one) because a lot of Doug Thompson's propaganda shows up on lefty blogs. Ask yourself, Ray, if in the last 12 months you have accused Bush of thinking the Constitution is just a god-damned piece of paper. Filter through the search hits on just one story and find how many lefties eat up Thompson's assertions, backed by three people who never go on record even though Thompson implies they will... oh THEY. WILL. While you're in the dictionary, look up "obsession," too. Hyperbole as drama is getting to be epidemic in the leftosphere. w3 · July 22, 2006 09:56 PM Until proven otherwise, I'm going on the theory that the "D" in "William D. McTavish" stands for "Douglas". w3 · July 22, 2006 10:56 PM The real irony is that people like Ray crop up every once in awhile parotting the same phrases they throw around elsewhere about 'Republican talking points' and other things absent on this site. It's clear they never actually read the site. But all the while they neglect to see that we follow Karl Rove (as we've noted time and again), who is beyond the Republican Party. Speaking of whom, he's late on July's payments. I'll have to send off an e-mail. Dennis · July 22, 2006 11:37 PM Dennis- Jon Thompson · July 23, 2006 02:12 AM adhominen? RayButler · July 23, 2006 09:20 AM No, I'm afraid sock puppets are not real men, so the correct phrase would be "adhominey"! We'll have to grit our teeth and take it like true homo sapiens. Quite parenthetically, I am very sorry to read about the apparent demise of Clayton Cramer Watch. Eric Scheie · July 23, 2006 01:46 PM |
