Now it's my turn to stick up for a White House intern whose local-boy-makes-good story is being largely ignored!
And right here in his hometown at that!
Take a close look at this photograph (it's from the front page of the Philadelphia Inquirer, February 21, 2004):
The second guy from the left is Michael Marcavage, a man whose talent I spotted myself, and recognized in this very blog (when no one else cared)!
If you don't believe me, just read about him (and how he made Steven Malcolm Anderson almost sympathetic to Bush) here -- and if you want to verify he's the guy in the picture, just click on the links. (Here's a really cool photo I missed!)
I had to lovingly scan it myself, because even though it was on the front page of yesterday's Philadelphia Inquirer, it appeared nowhere on line. Not only that, but the story caption is deceptive in the extreme. Marcavage's name is not given (although his organization "Repent America" is), and the "story" which readers are referred to as being on page A4 makes no mention of Marcavage whatsoever.
Oughta be very proud. Certainly, there is no shortage of stories reporting the arrest. Why, the press in Kansas City is talking about him! (If you don't wanna subscribe, here's the Google cache version....)
I also want to why they're ignoring (well, not everybody; at least Alan Colmes knows talent when he sees it) a man who additionally devotes himself to attacking President Bush for "promoting evil and openly supporting wickedness" -- and whose website is:
dedicated to providing up-to-date factual news information tracking the president's anti-Christian and ungodly behavior"
I thought "Bush is evil" was the whole theme meme!
ADDITIONAL NOTE: According to the WorldNetDaily story above, the sinister San Francisco sodomites even refused Marcavage his constitutionally protected right to be arrested on "TV"! (For the sake of decency, I have to assume that WorldNetDaily meant "television." Otherwise, their "TV request" should never have found its way into print!)

Robert Enke! This reminds me of Robert Enke. Let me tell you another little story:
Back in the 1980's, when I was living in Portland, Oregon, I had a friend named David Staino, a John Bircher and an _extremely_ interesting young man, he had an extremely interesting _style_.
Anyway, one day he and I were standing around chatting when along came another interesting fellow carrying a big Bible. He introduced himself as one Robert Enke, and he sat us down for a little Bible lesson. He talked a great deal about the Apocalypse and Biblical prophecies being fulfilled.
But one thing that really bugged him was homosexuality. He was against it. He said that homosexuality was not one sin but actually consisted of some 50+ different sins listed here and there in the Bible. And he warned us never to go to San Francisco because of all the homosexuals there.
But he liked sex. He quoted from the Song of Solomon. He liked the relation of woman to man with man's relation to God (an analogy invoked by C. S. Lewis also, and quite pervasive throughout both the Old and New Testaments). And then he said that he was looking forward to going to Heaven so he could see Christ's penis.
That's what I thought of when I looked at your picture of your friend Marcavage standing there with those other young men.
There are a lot of crackpots out there, and Marcavage may be one of them. I do not claim to know what his "deal" is. But I do know when something doesn't look right...
Gee, I don't know. You might have to ask Bill Clinton about that!
("Scandal" can be meant in several ways... Tongue in cheek humor is one way. Of course, the scandal may be more serious, if Marcavage is an agent provocateur...)
I don't think that is a picture of Michael Marcavage. In reviewing the photos on the RepentAmerica.com website, he has a pretty boy, amish-look. It also doesn't say anthing about him being an intern. Who has info on that?
I guess the White House intern thing is true. This is very interesting. However, he looks different in every picture. I guess that is what terrorists do. Check out this site I found, http://www.marcavage.com It has some type of actor shot of Michael Marcavage. Does anyone know anything more about this man?

Hmmm... Interesting questions...
