Soothe The Monkeys
The problem with social conservatism with respect to candidates winning elections is that it gets the monkeys screaming. That does not help win elections. Soothe the monkeys. Tell what you want to accomplish. 1. Clean out the corrupt - Start with our own house. Core message? Is our rallying cry. You know why I just love Palin to death? IMHO the "War on Drugs" should have been a "War on Drug Users." For instance if you drive drunk Europe your license is taken away and you spend time in jail. Second offense you lose your license and spend a year in jail (Some variation country to country but they are harsh.) God help you if you get caught with drugs in Japan or Taiwan.
