Stop embarrassing and unwanted elections!

I recently took a test which ranked my presidential "preferences" for me in an order other than the order that I would rank them! (Test link via Discount Blogger. )

1. Your ideal theoretical candidate. (100%)
2. Bush, President George W. - Republican (75%)
3. Libertarian Candidate (70%)
4. Phillips, Howard - Constitution (40%)
5. Gephardt, Rep. Dick, MO - Democrat (39%)
6. Kerry, Senator John, MA - Democrat (35%)
7. Edwards, Senator John, NC - Democrat (34%)
8. Dean, Gov. Howard, VT - Democrat (28%)
9. Kucinich, Rep. Dennis, OH - Democrat (26%)
10. Sharpton, Reverend Al - Democrat (17%)
11. Clark, Retired General Wesley K., AR - Democrat (9%)
12. Lieberman, Senator Joe, CT - Democrat (9%)
13. LaRouche, Lyndon H. Jr. - Democrat (7%)
14. Moseley-Braun, Former Senator Carol, IL - Democrat (2%)

That's not the way I would rank those candidates.

How dare they rank them for me?

I may not agree with Carol Moseley-Braun, but she is at least sane (and therefore outranks Lyndon LaRouche by several percentage points). And I prefer General Clark to Sharpton, Kerry, Edwards, Kucinich, Gephardt. Why does Bush come in ahead of the imaginary Libertarian? And why does Howard Phillips rank so high? Whose opinions are these, anyway? I thought my opinions were mine!

What the hell!

Maybe I should carefully redo the list to reflect my real order of preferences.

But I want to be fair.

Who's paying me for endorsements?

All I can say is: Screwy. My results were:

1. Your ideal theoretical candidate. (100%)
2. Bush, President George W. - Republican (55%)
3. Gephardt, Rep. Dick, MO - Democrat (51%)
4. Edwards, Senator John, NC - Democrat (49%)
5. Libertarian Candidate (47%)
6. Kerry, Senator John, MA - Democrat (46%)
7. Kucinich, Rep. Dennis, OH - Democrat (42%)
8. Dean, Gov. Howard, VT - Democrat (40%)
9. Sharpton, Reverend Al - Democrat (38%)
10. LaRouche, Lyndon H. Jr. - Democrat (33%)
11. Clark, Retired General Wesley K., AR - Democrat (23%)
12. Phillips, Howard - Constitution (21%)
13. Lieberman, Senator Joe, CT - Democrat (17%)
14. Moseley-Braun, Former Senator Carol, IL - Democrat (12%)

Ridiculous. I don't know how I ended up that way. I wouldn't vote for most of these bozos -- ever. I'll vote against Bush if he comes out for that [expletive deleted] Federal Marriage Amendment. Dean is the only Democrat I know of who's not out to take away my gun, so he should be higher on my list. I prefer LaRouche over Sharpton. Philips over Lieberman?? Philips is a Christian Reconstructionist who wants to stone me to death. I suppose it was my positions on terrorism and national security that did it here, I don't know. How Carol Moseley-Braun would help that even 12% I'm at a loss to say. The Libertarian Party is not even a joke. So, yes, I'll go with my ideal theoretical candidate over this jumble.

I read somewhare recently that Carol Moseley-Braun opposed a gun-ban law, supported the right of the people to at least keep, if not bear, arms. I have a much higher opinion of her now, I think.
