I have to leave at the crack of dawn, and I'll be gone for the holidays, so I may or may not have time for blogging.
With any luck, there might be some posts, though.
Happy thanksgiving!
UPDATE: What the hell. I might as well leave readers with a picture, as I know I wouldn't want to come here and read a post with nothing to see except a "happy thanksgiving" announcement.
So here's the most dramatic turkey picture I could find.
Yes, it's the largest turkey in the United States -- at least it was until a tragic incendiary incident.
Remember, only you can prevent turkey fires!

Here in Berkeley, its "Happy Tofurkey Day." An 8 pound tofurkey (a tofu turkey with tofu drumsticks) sells for $40.00. Most Berkeley supermarkets have them. Vegan, soy-based, lactose-free gravy costs $5.00 to $8.00 extra. I've never eaten tofurkey, but I know people who have, and they say it tastes as good as it sounds!
Considering that turkeys are a bit slow on the uptake, I'm thinking maybe it's a Buddhist turkey committing self-immolation in protest of the Diem regime in Vietnam....
Happy Thanksgiving, Eric!
