Global Warming is cold!

I've been in New Jersey all day, and now I return and see that science has officially confirmed that Bush's Global Warming has ushered in an ICE AGE:

The ocean current that gives western Europe its relatively balmy climate is stuttering, raising fears that it might fail entirely and plunge the continent into a mini ice age.

The dramatic finding comes from a study of ocean circulation in the North Atlantic, which found a 30% reduction in the warm currents that carry water north from the Gulf Stream.

The slow-down, which has long been predicted as a possible consequence of global warming, will give renewed urgency to intergovernmental talks in Montreal, Canada, this week on a successor to the Kyoto Protocol.

Like I say, that's cold!

Does the evil axis of the Bushitler McHalliburton Rechimplicans leave no spin unturned?

I have to say, it's very clever of them to disguise global warming as an Ice Age. (Intelligent design indeed.)

Fortunately, they can't fool science!

Arrrrgh... I am suffering from the incessant and ever present Global Normalcy!

This is not about the Planet being normal but that the planet has been normal for far too long!

Oh wait... I know the cure to my ailment. I can just pretend that everything that happens on planet earth is an abnormal warming or an abnormal cooling!
Problem solved:-) Now I will sleep well at night knowing that the EARTH will collapse when I wake up.

Ah, but the shift in greenhouse gases from the U.S. to China results from outsourcing! Also the evil Bush's fault!

You know, when you mock concerns about global warming, you are mocking the opinion of the *overwhelming majority* of scientists al around the world.

Just thought you should know.

Herd thinking is, I think, always in need of mocking. (And I'd say this even if I thought they might be right...)

On page 18 of The Fortean Times #208 there is a series of reports of fishes, dolphins, and whales appearing off England's shores. Animals usually found off Spain or southwest France. The accounts start with the 2nd item, after the report of a 'parade' of sea life off Englewood Florida on August 4th of this year.

Bad science involves not just selecting evidence that supports your view, it also involves ignoring evidence that contradicts it.

I'm glad not to be a scientist who expects to find animals where they usually "should" be. I recently saw a Peregrine falcon in my yard, and they used to be nonexistent in this area. The gods are telling us something, no doubt....

Check out a site dedicated to the absurdity and satire nature of saying "It's All George Bush's Fault!"
