This is the moment when a woman was captured on CCTV lying unconscious in the gutter of a busy road, suffering from a serious head wound.
Police raced to the scene after traffic was forced to swerve around the 25-year-old victim as she lay bleeding.
Um ... why wasn't traffic forced to stop?

The site is called 'this is London' and the story illustrates that completely.
If you're being beaten up in London don't expect people to help you - they're scared they'll be next. I imagine those drivers didn't want to meet the people who'd put that woman there. Best just to drive on.
Not so long ago a 'steaming' (tube train robbery) gang was convicted in London. They'd surround a victim and beat them up (or worse, including sexual assault) while robbing them. Other passengers sat still and did nothing.
