Be sure to visit this week's Carnival of the Vanities at James DiBenedetto's Eleven Day Empire. It's a Star Wars theme, and the posts are grouped accordingly. Clever, cosmic, fun.
A few of my favorites:
Kevin at The Smallest Minority has a truly excellent essay on whether or not we'll have a Civil War. (I think bloggers can stop it!) A lot of work went into this, and if the topic interests you, it's a must-read. (And if a second Civil War doesn't interest you, well, I'm sure there are some blogs devoted to daytime soap operas somewhere....)
Smarter cop discusses the incredible, incomprehensible, logic-defying, Kerry-Edwards, no-backdoor-draft, have-your-cake-and-eat-it-too, "what needs to be done" plan.
Incite discusses the UN, concluding it's incapable of reform, and irrelevant. So when do we get to stop paying for it?
Sneakeasy's Joint offers a splendid poem; "In defense of the PJ Pundit." (With picture!)
I'm glad you liked the poem. :-)
And for the record I'm NOT the pictured PJ Stud. :-)
MY picture is elsewhere on my blog. :-)
