A day without bloggers?

Could it be done?

Couldn't we show the evil MSM who's really boss that way?

I mean, we are the Internet, aren't we?

If for once we really got together -- left and right -- why, bloggers could put down their keyboards, lose their mice, remove their working pajamas, and take to the streets en masse!

¡Los bloggers unidos, jamas seran vencidos!

¡Si, Se puede!

The problem is, these ideas have to start somewhere, and right now, absolutely no one is even discussing the idea.

Come on bloggers! You have nothing to lose but your butt sores!

OK, OK, so maybe Tom Maguire actually referred to "ass welts" or something. Butt sores, ass welts, it's close enough. I get the message.

We need to smash the MSM stereotype that we're lazy and sit around on our asses all the time!

There is a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part; you can't even passively take part, and you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels, upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop. And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!

UPDATE: Some cats sure are touchy. (I guess I should scratched that bit about bloggers losing their mice.)

UPDATE: Thanks to Daily Pundit and Pajamas Media for the links!

We can make this a reality!

¡Si, Se puede!

You DO realize that if every blogger on the planet took a day off, workplace productivity would SKYROCKET??? After everyone saw the results, there'd be a movement to ban blogging permanently!

Exactly lol! But if every blogger took a month ago there would be massive retirments/resignations and rising unemployment as people realized they can no longer accept the level of boredom they once tolerated.

They could never deport all the bloggers. There are too many of us. Besides, they need us! Who else can labor all day over their stupid newspapers? Who else pays such close attention to every nuance of every boring politician? Who else does line by line fiskings of long passages written by the likes of Paul Krugman?

We are doing the work that Americans would never do!

It's degrading work that you couldn't pay Americans to do! And we do it free!

STRIKE!!!!

Just don't hold it on a Friday.

I will NEVER give up Friday catblogging!

A day without bloggers. Hm.

I know! We can call it "Saturday!"

Or wait, wait, "Sunday!"

Yeah, that'll work.

"Who else does line by line fiskings of long passages written by the likes of Paul Krugman?"

I shudder even thinking of it.
