Festive? Perhaps...definitly visceral! I like the subtle colors. Is it a tornado or volcano about to obliterate the village in the lower-right corner? A gnarly tree? Was this created with or without intent? Clues, please.

It's a closeup shot of a three-dimensional lacquer print of a medieval scene. Very disturbing, and I have no idea what it is. An artist friend gave it to me because it grossed him out. It's Bosch like, with none of Bosch's charm.
