Good is twice as bad!

Something is very wrong with this blog, and I'm worried that the primary problem is that I'm too nice.

Via Dean Esmay (who, fortunately, cushioned the blow when he said nice things about me last week), I was directed to a very elaborate test which rates blogs by percentage of good and evil. In the rating process, the test analyzes such things as "Points of Interest" and Important Phrases" -- and it promises near-infallibility:

The Gematriculator is a service that uses the infallible methods of Gematria developed by Mr. Ivan Panin to determine how good or evil a web site or a text passage is.

Basically, Gematria is searching for different patterns through the text, such as the amount of words beginning with a vowel. If the amount of these matches is divisible by a certain number, such as 7 (which is said to be God's number), there is an incontestable argument that the Spirit of God is ever present in the text. Another important aspect in gematria are the numerical values of letters: A=1, B=2 ... I=9, J=10, K=20 and so on. The Gematriculator uses Finnish alphabet, in which Y is a vowel.

Experts consider the mathematical patterns in the text of the Holy Bible as God's watermark of authenticity. Thus, the Gematriculator provides only results that are absolutely correct.

Scary, isn't it? And it means the test has to be right, because it's based on science.

Upset as I am with the results, I feel a duty to share them with my readers, because it would be a cowardly form of denial for me to run away from things that are scientifically incontrovertible.

I'm (gulp) only 33% evil:

This site is certified 33% EVIL by the Gematriculator

And if we do the math, that also means I'm 67% good:

This site is certified 67% GOOD by the Gematriculator

Dean beats me by a substantial margin, as he's 51% evil. Dean's characterization of Urthshu as a "goody two-shoes" made me wince, because Urthshu is tied with me at 33%.

I don't know what to do about this, and I guess I should start by admitting my shortcomings and promising to try harder.

The worst part of this is that I had my blog rated by this same outfit over two years ago, and I was more evil than I am now.

How do I lose the goody two shoes? (Hell, just yesterday I ridiculed diversity for Columbus Day and did an irreligious, downright heretical PhotoShopping of Porky Pig! It's all so discouraging....)

Any advice greatly appreciated.

Good sucks bad.

I had it rate Up With Beauty and it came up with -- 2% EVIL vs. 98% GOOD. WHAT???? I'm so evil I'm cruel even to Wanda!

Or does being sadistic to a sadist cancel itself out and make me a masochist?

"....a masochist"

Holy Dawn, captive Goddess of her holy Negro wife Norma. But I often think that holy Dawn is more evil than wicked Wanda.

Harkonnendog is 70% good... aw man... I'm a friggin' Raider fan. Does that count for nothing?!?!

Dean got 51% EVIL, and yet he said he hates the Roman Empire because they were too cruel. Yet Classical Values got 33% EVIL, and yet your site is based on the Roman Empire, and you even have a running poll listing ancient forms of execution, from buried alive to death by a thousand cuts. Hmmm....

One of my favorite books in high school was a big book on the history of every form of execution in history. I also liked Kafka's The Penal Colony. When I was a little child I loved Hans Christian Andersen's "The Little Girl Who Trod On A Loaf". I always loved bondage scenes in cartoons, comic books, and TV shows. I always thought I was totally evil, the most evil man in mankind's history.

I didn't mention my Loompanics books on Execution: Tools and Techniques, Physical Interrogation Techniques, How to Steal Food from the Supermarket, and The World Power Foundation: its Goals and Platform. They also once put out a How to Kill series (not about hunting but about how to commit murder and get away with it). You can buy lots of such books from Loompanics Unlimited.

They're in Port Townsend, as is Liberty magazine, which is libertarian but not nearly as anarchist. I have good memories of Port Townsend. We used to go there every summer to stay with our Aunt Shirley and Uncle George and our younger cousin Matt. Occasionally we'd see our older cousins Mark and Sherry there. We had a lot of fun. Matt had a lot of Superman comics and a Superman suit and a lab in the basement. We ate Trix and watched cartoons. Once, we toured an old dungeon or jail by the waterfront. About 10 years ago, Matt took Dave and me to visit the Loompanics building. They were closed at that time of day, but we peeked through the windows. They had a cat there.

My favorite modern form of execution is the electric chair.
