I just read that he's also quite consistently good on the free exercise of religion. That goes for Muslims and American Indians as well as Christians. Freedom of religion, of worship and conscience, is indeed the first freedom, from which all the other freedoms proceed. It is the very sanctum sanctorium of one's fealty to one's Creator, and Most High Goddess (She for Whom all things were created).
