The enemies of freedom finally agree on something:

The five great saints and many other leaders in the spirit world, including even Communist leaders such as Marx and Lenin, who committed all manner of barbarity and murders on earth, and dictators such as Hitler and Stalin, have found strength in my teachings, mended their ways and been reborn as new persons. What a relief to know that the country is in such good hands! They listen to true prophets!

I was also quite taken by Moon's ruminations on classical architecture:

Because Jesus was killed by the religion of Judaism and the Roman government we had to restore that. For Jesus to be totally liberated Rome had to restore this through America. The Dirksen building had Roman architecture. An event that led up to this was that of the American Century Awards in 2000.

People need to know that they have inherited a false life through a false lineage, which originated in a false love relationship. God feels pain and sorrow when He sees the promiscuous sex and homosexuality that are so prevalent in our world today. When people realize that they have inherited the position of the enemy of love, enemy of life, and enemy of lineage, they will be filled with shame. God's nature, though, is to love the sons and daughters of His enemy even more than His own children. He has invested himself completely without expecting any return, and He will continue this process until He has restored all the children who were taken from Him. This is God's providence of salvation.

For God to bring a fallen human being back to life, He must provide a life force even more powerful than false life. How pitiful God must be, tormented by the misery of each baby brought into this world through the false seed resulting from the fall! Such children have multiplied to the point that now there are six billion fallen human beings in the world.

I guess that's what I am doing, taking him seriously. I still think the guy's as crazy as a loon, and if he thinks he's the Messiah, we should feel sorry for him and treat him the same way we'd treat other such claimants.

But no differently.

If I thought that the Republicans actually supported this nonsense, I would try to warn them that it doesn't make conservatism look good. This fruitcake makes Leon Kass -- despite his ice-cream phobia -- look very sane.

Might the Democrats have an issue they've overlooked here? I doubt it. They're too dumb. Plus, the Democratic Party harbors a few nuts of its own.

In 1998, investigative reporter Robert Parry revealed how a Moon subsidiary organization funneled $3.5 million into a nonprofit organization in Virginia, in a scheme intended to ease a major financial crisis at Rev. Jerry Falwell's Liberty University. Falwell has been ubiquitous at Moon-sponsored events since at least the early 1980s when he led a chorus of complaints that Moon was "persecuted" rather than prosecuted on criminal charges of conspiracy, perjury and obstruction of justice in connection with his federal tax fraud case.
